Peter Rasmussen is one of Australia’s most respected acting coaches and casting directors, bringing over 25 years of industry experience to his training. His teaching blends deep craft, practical technique and real-world casting insight, giving actors a rare understanding of what genuinely works on camera. Peter has taught at leading institutions including QUT, Griffith Film School, Queensland Conservatorium, the Howard Fine Acting Studio and the Melbourne Acting Academy, with countless students going on to book major roles in Australian and international film, television and theatre.

Do students need any acting experience?

Not at all. Our kids’ classes are perfect for complete beginners as well as young actors who want to build on their existing skills. Our small groups ensure that each actor is welcomed at their own level.

Yes, we also offer a great mix of online classes and industry guides taught online. Please send an enquiry to check that the course is suitable for your young actor.

We offer classes for kids and teens, with age groups separated to ensure appropriate content, teaching style, and class structure.

Because class numbers are capped, we can’t usually offer trials or audits. However, we’re happy to help you choose the right class and answer any questions before enrolling.

While our focus is skill development rather than securing work, students learn solid acting foundations and on-camera technique. These skills can help with auditions, self-tapes, and future training opportunities. 

Yes. Many exercises involve camera work to help students feel comfortable on screen and build practical skills used in auditions. Parents are provided with any footage shot in class.

Absolutely. Acting classes are wonderful for building confidence, communication skills, and social ease. Many of our shyest students end up thriving.

Students explore acting through games, improvisation, script work, and simple on-screen exercises. Classes are fun, supportive, and designed to build confidence, focus, and creativity.

A QUT acting graduate and member of the Casting Guild of Australia, he has cast films like The Butterfly Tree and TV shows like Neighbours.
